I rented a bedroom set that included gently used mattresses from Aaron's back in February, returning it about 1 or 2 months later because I was getting bitten by bed bugs. I called them and they said I had infested the furniture set, which I know isn't true because I had never had this problem before.
Then, when we were taking the furniture set apart to clean it and give it back to the company, I found a piece of paper shoved behind the dresser drawer set from a WorldWide Pest Control saying they had sprayed for bed bugs. I was so mad that I went over there and yelled at the manager, coincidentally named Aaron as well, in his office. All he said was that they would dispose of it, and that was it! He even kept the paper as evidence.
The company came and picked up the furniture and did nothing to compensate. I have gotten rid of so much stuff, and I am still dealing with this problem.
