In September I paid the final bill after moving out of my old apartment. When I checked my credit report in July I saw a negative credit mark from Hunter Warfield about this payment I had already sent in. I called them immediately and they were very rude and forced me to pay the amount to them again (even though the apartment building, their client, had already cashed the check and there was not debt to collect).in other words, they committed fraud and stole money from me.
I have a proof of payment (check image front and back with endorsement from their client) and have been trying for weeks to get a refund of my money that they owe me. They will not return my calls or emails and when I call they transfer me to a line that never answers and when I leave a message I do not get a call back.
