Omega Shipping are crooks and should be put out of business. The company makes up rates on a daily basis. I had items picked up by Omega and wanted a container shipped to Israel. After paying over $2000 just for the pick-up and not getting any other invoice they held my property hostage and wanted another $6000. I had a studio apartment, they came late, worked (?) about two hours and broke a table while taking the items out to the truck.
My move was cancelled and when I went to get my property back from Omega I found that there were things missing including clothes, tools, small furniture items, a bicycle, children's games and a painting.
This company has no respect for a customer and treats the customers property like trash. They feel that it is ok to "appropriate" a customers property without any fear of the customer being able to do anything about it.
This company should be closed and the owners put in jail.
