I recently switched my cable service to Direct TV on 8/9. I have repeatedly tried to get my issues fixed by emailing the customer support page and have to this day not heard from anybody.
When I first got my service 8/9 the technician installed (without asking or telling) the dish on the overhang of the RV parking witch made it useless. I also received a bill 3 days later, when I called on this "Daniel from customer support" told me "just ignore that one and your first bill will be due 9/16 in the amount of $58.56."When I called to get the issue fixed about the Dish Placement I was told I would need to pay $75 for relocation. The CSR "James" on 8/15 told me I signed a work order saying that I approved it but when I asked for a copy he told me they didnt keep copies. I also had issues with the bedroom TV having a vertical line constantly, Customer Support told me I needed a new TV. After calling again 8/16 to try and resolve this I got a gentleman in Derek in Oregon (the most helpful) he had a Tech come out and relocate the dish and try to fix issue with bedroom TV, he did relocate the dish witch Derek told me I would not be charged for and tried to resolve the issue with bedroom TV to no avail. So I went and got a new TV and reset the box 3 times, not sure which helped but it was gone. When I get on to pay my bill 9/1 I told it to pay the full amount... The screen said $27.51 was the amount due and I paid it. Know 9/29 I get an email saying I am extremely past due... Wtf. So I look online at my account and find that I am being charged for a relocation fee for dish. I call your customer support in India and think her name was casey or pinky... I don't know... She talked over me, thru me, around me. She says it was never noted on my account about any phone calls or conversations prior to her that evening. I am soooo frustrated and am going back to my previous cable company since I can talk with someone in the states who knows WTF they are doing.
Your Customer Promise does not exist. I would rather pay 3 times the amount and go back to my previous provider than stay with your company.
