I have been unable to access PHOTOPOINT for the last few days. Today I found out why! Just how inconsiderate can a company be? Well... Ask PHOTOPOINT!!! PHOTOPOINT certainly had the time to email us a few months ago asking for A FEE TO CONTINUE HOSTING our photos.
I gladly paid the first year's fee immediately, not wanting to go to the trouble of changing hosting sites and certain of their HONESTY. Yeah, RIGHT!
I used the service for years, mostly to host pics for online auctions, but other users have lost large collections of irreplaceable photos because PHOTOPOINT could not take a little time to send out a "blanket" email to all of us, who trusted their service, informing us that it would be PRUDENT to download our photos and save them.
PHOTOPOINT certainly taught this senior citizen a lesson. They blew the word TRUST right out of my vocabulary!
