Caveat emptor: buyer beware
Bought the $199 air duct & furnace cleaning service. Servicemen 2 hrs late. Regardless of excuses, you are late if you are late.
Note to potential customers, package only entails,
1) hooking up a somewhat weak vacumn to an outlet vent to suck out dirt.
2) cleaning the external of furnace and motor. Took less than an hour for our 4 bedroom home.
Package DOES NOT include:
1) cleaning filter in furnace
2) removing the motor to clean the blower inside the furnace
3) brushing or physical dislodging of particles inside duct.
4) cleaning of individual registers above mentioned require additional charges.
On hindsight, their promotion was no bargain at all.in fact, price is rather on the high side if you think about the work involved. Technician will try to sell you all the add-ons at additional costs. This is the kind of sales tactic I personally despise the most. Like I said, buyer be aware of what you are paying for.
