I contacted this photographer, whom adertised free photography sessions and photos for deployed soldiers and their families. I found her through a non-profit organization that offers these incentives.
She had done a photo session for my family a day before my husband deployed, which the session also contained newborn photos of our first child and was the only family photos we have before my husband left.
This was back in June and I still do not have the photos. I have left her 2 voicemails, emailed her and contacted her through Facebook, but the only response I got was that she had no idea who I was. I then went to contact the organization, Operation Love (www.oplove.org).
The organiztion did contact me via email saying they try and make contact with her and get back with me, that was mid-August and still nothing. I have now left the contact person from the organization 2 voicemails.
So, as of today, I still have no photos from that photoshoot before my husband deployed and still no information on where the photos are. I understand the session and photos were free, but they have a lot of meaning since theu included newborn photos of our 1st child and the last family photos before my husband deployed to Afghanistan.
