The not so wise locksmith in Kenmore. I had a very regrettable experience with Chris Wiessman, the owner. I am a General Contractor and I contacted Chris last July and requested a quote for a Kaba LD470. This is a combination lock with an ADA handle and a stainless finish. Chris quoted me $135 for each of them plus $20 for shipping. I told him to order me 2 of them. After almost 2 weeks of waiting Chris contacted me and said they were in. However, Chris demanded that I pay him cash instead of with a check or credit card. I reminded him that I was a contractor and I could not pay him cash. I also told him that I would defiantly need a sales receipt. Chris told me that if I didn't pay him in cash that he would need charge me sales tax even though I have a resale permit. I told him this was unacceptable. He then said in that case that I would have to pay $390 for them even though he quoted me only $290.
