I am in the Military and 4 years ago I was in the Persian gulf while my wife struggled at home with my three children by her self. Magazine source called her day in and day out trying to get her to buy their magazines. She agreed but was told that the payments will only be 7.15 a month for two years for 3 magazines.
When she went to go the store two days later she noticed that over 47.00 was taken out of our account by Magazine source. She went home to call them and they told her it was a mistake by them and that she will get a refund minus the first months charge. She told them that she wanted to cancel the subscription. They tried to talk her out of it and they agreed. A month later they called her again stating they have not received a payment.
My wife told them they she had canceled and they said we're sorry but you did not cancel with-in 72 hours and that they have no record. For three months they called her... When I got home I called them and they told me the story about she stating she canceled and they stating she did not. I requested an envoice and a contract either verbal or written. They told me it was by telephone recording, I requested a copy of the recording and just yesterday they started calling again I again this time from some atorney's office. I told the office to provide me with an envoice or written contract and they told me to contact the Magazine source... Any help will be appreciated...
