I Received a LG5200 on 2/10. On 2/17 the phone would not ring. I called tech support and it was determined that it was a defective phone. I said I wanted them to send a replacement phone imediately. The woman I spoke with said they needed a $60.00 deposit to send a new phone. Otherwise, I could send the phone back and they would send a replacement as soon as they received it. And then she suggested I just use vibrate mode. Now, what is it that is so attractive about a phone that rings?
I sent the phone back on Feb. 24th 2 day priority mail (insured). They claim that they didn't receive the phone until March 2nd.
I have called every other day (I have kept records of every call). The first two weeks I wasn't real upset, but it's been four weeks and they can't even tell me if a replacement phone has been, or will be sent.
The customer service people are so RUDE and unhelpful. They claim that they cannot contact anyone eles for more info.
I told them that I want my money back, but they said that because I used 30 min. I can't have it.
I haven't had a phone for two months, but yet they continue to charge me the monthy service fee.
They have lost my rebate for the phone.
I can't beleive that I've been so ripped off. I just want my money back.
