They spammed my contact forms with an offer to protect me from consumer complaints.
I am a business person, and have no problem with folks complaining about me doing a bad job... (btw, I haven't been reported - Could it be that I do a little extra to make things fair with my customers when there is a problem?)
I don't fear people telling the truth.
This company spammed me through the websites I own and host. They deliberately spammed me talking about how terrible places like this are for allowing consumers to voice their concerns over a merchant's bad behavior.
You folks should be applauded! Great job, wish I had known about you sooner.
I have a portion of my form where the submitter must agree that they understand the "Can Spam Act", and affirm that they understand that it is ILLEGAL to spam:
"By checking this box you affirm that you understand spamming is illegal under the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 (CAN-SPAM or the Act). U.S. Companies who hire foreign contractors to carry out their spamming can be held liable for their contractors violation of United States law when done
at their direction and under their supervision."
They had to agree to this statement in order to send this email.
And they have a problem with complaint... They are probably a bunch of crooks anyways, otherwise they would not have sent this message.
