I was content with my credit card processor and leasing agreement for the equipment I had and was not about to change. My current lease agreement was in the amount of $52.68 including tax plus, of course, processing fees.
In June appeared Mr. Robert Ooten representing Merchant Direct Services offering me a deal. Mr. Ooten offered me a lease for 73.14 including tax - well, I would be a fool to take that deal and pay more plus my processing fees - no way. Mr. Ooten then tells me that his company (Merchant Direct) will reimburse all my processing fees on a monthly basis, just fax them my statements and they will send me a check to reimburse, now that sounds pretty good to me. However, I am not to trusting on these matters so I write it all out on paper and have him sign it, noting that the contract is for 48 months.
So it begins, they are very slow on reimbursement, I would have to wait 2 or 3 months for a check. The latest check I received July was for statements going back to December. Here is the kicker, they also send me a letter telling me that they will no longer be reimbursing me that they only do this for one year as a courtesy and that they are not responsible or obligated to reimburse after that period. What??? I refuse to accept this, I am tired of being ripped off by credit card companies, this one being the absolute worst. I have left two messages for Mr. Robert Ooten, it has been over two weeks now and not a word from him. I will continue to fight this - I will not let them win this one.
