Purchased a 7 yr. Warranty for Living room set. Now we have huge rips on all pieces -Sofa, Loveseat and Chair. We have been trying for months to get repair or replacement as promised, but have nothing but headaches from this company. I tried to speak with a supervisor during 1 call, was told there was no way to transfer my phone call. Then was told later in the conversation, There was no superviosr there and told later that one would call me back.
I was then told 3 weeks later (after not hearing from Stainsafe) that my claim was being reviewed to decide whether they were going to replace or repair the items, was told it would take 1 to 2 weeks for a letter to arrive. Never did, called back and was told by another rep. That there is no record of earlier call but she will mark this as priority and forward to claim dept.
Talked today to Value City - Altoona where furniture was purchased, got a call back from them stating they were able to access Stainsafe computers and that they rejected my claim for unspecified reasons other than they didnt cover what was damaged. My reports to the Florida & Pennsylvania Attorney General Offices are prepared and being mailed. I urge all customers to take the time and do the same.
