Contractor assured me he was licensed and promised he would do the work himself after he gave me the estimate.
He never turned up to do the job and send his trainee instead to do the work. His trainee kept calling him throughout the whole time he was there to ask him how to do the job.
After he replaced some electrical switches, plates and receptacles, the trainee insisted to get paid before he left and before I had the chance to test the switches.
I discovered later that a fan, some switches and lights were not working. I called, sent emails and finally contacted the agent who referred me to him and explained my dilemma.
6 weeks after my first call, he still has not been to redo the work he has already been paid for.
The trainee rate was $40 and I was charged for time when he was not even there.
Considering the damage he caused, I paid him $1300 for doing nothing.
