This past Friday evening (Jan., 4 2011), I was shopping at the CVS #06231 06231/ intersection of Meridean and 23rd in Oklahoma. I was in the store for an hour trying to get all things needed when your husband and daughter are sick. At check out, the cashier named Claudia asked if I was ready to check out, in which I did replied back saying that I was. She rang up all the items and the price came out to be $99 and some change. I thought it was a bit much so I decided to give back items that I could live without since my husband was going to use the rest of the money to buy semi new tires for our only vehicle. Claudia, with an attitude, told me that she has to re-do everything over again and that I should have told her before hand. I told her that I was sorry for doing that and just to ring me up so I can get out of the store and I didn't know I was going to do that. Claudia then told me that I should have brought a calculator so she wouldn't have to deal with what was going on. I told her she was rude and did use foul language towards her bc I was shocked that I was being treated in such a way. Do you really allow such people to work at your stores??? I told Claudia that since she works there and I'm a customer that she is serving us and that she was being unprofessional. She didn't care and told me that she wasn't serving me and started calling me foul names. I left the store to put the items I purchased in my car and walked back in and asked her to write down the corporates number and to give me her name. She yelled at me in front of other people that she will not do such a thing. I wouldn't leave until I got the information, and then Claudia called the manager on duty, TJ to come kick me out of the store and that I wasn't allowed back at the store. I explained to TJ what had happened and so Tj wrote down the information for me and gave me Claudia's name. I will be calling corporate early Monday morning. TJ was so kind to me and did say that she will talk to Claudia, but I don't think that is enough after what Claudia put me through. Has anyone heard of work etiquette? I have had many jobs and have worked with all sorts of differen't people. I know how to act like an adult and how to treat customers that come into the business I work in. I never disappointed any of the companies I worked for bc I like working! I also over heard Claudia complain to TJ about vacuuming the store every night and why she had to do it. Really? Why is this Claudia girl working for your company. She is making ya'll look bad. I will still go and shop at this location since it is closer to where I live. Usually, when I go into this location, there always was someone with a great attitude and always helped me out when i needed it. For some reason, on that night, the person who was serving me just didn't want to be there in the first place. You can always tell if someone wants to be at work or not just by looking at the expressions on their face and attitude. I rate Claudia in the negatives and I hope I never see her face there again. Hire people that want to work for your company, work for your customers instead of causing problems. I'm very disappointed!!! Please fixed the problem before it gets any worse.
