My restaurant was recently written up in a local paper... Within a few days of the publication, a company called saying they would put the article on a beautiful plaque for us to display in our restaurant.
Gave the company over the phone permission to make the plaque and provided them with payment with check number to automatic debit from account. Promised confirmation with proof via email and it never came.
Tried to follow up over the phone but phone number goes to voice mail that does not take messages because it's full. No way to contact this company as this company is closed. Someone using this company fraud-gently to scam money from small businesses. Took over $160 from my account and now we have to close our bank account for our business.
