Do not pay to have puppies shipped to the US from any foreign country. It is a scam. I got scammed out of a Yorkie puppy. First the location where the dog was posted did not match the dog's real location.
The people scam you by making it seem like they are so sincere. Also if somebody calls you, it is a scam. This is what happened to me. After I sent my $350 in I did some research and I found the same scam emails that were worded differently but were basically the same.
Alex Rowland, scammed me out of my $350 with his fake African accent. He picked up my money and went on about his business. Atleast it was only $350 though and not more.
This is an example of the email:
"Hi my name is (xxxxx). I was interested in adopting one of the Yorkie puppies you have available. I was referred to by the breeder she told me you were overseas. I currently have a Pomeranian so the puppy will be taken care of. If you can get back to me and let me know how much the puppy would be I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you"

I got your email regarding the three adorable Yorkie puppies i have for adoption, i have 2 females and 1 male yorkie puppies, i am willing to give out to a good home for adoption, the females are 3 months old while the male is 3 months old. The cost of adopting each of the Yorkie puppies is free and shipping is $350, while the cost of shipping
two of the puppies is $600, cost of shipping all three puppies is $900.00, the puppies are presently weighing 2.5lbs now and would weigh between 3 to 4lbs at maturity, they are pottytrained, My babies are so animated and will keep you entertained for hours. certificate, vaccination and worming record, copy of USDA paper, AKC
registrationapplication for the puppy, its pedigree, tips on care and
training your puppy, and your puppy's guarantee. Also the airline
ticket, an approved carrier with a soft, comfortable bed, health
certificate from my vet, a puppy pack including sample food your pup
has been eating, a tube of nutri-cal, I also include a special gift to
your puppy from me.
Everything you will need will be taped to the top of your puppy's
carrier. The total cost of shipping and handling one of the puppies is
$350. As you know i have a lot of people that are interested in
adopting the puppies so let me know when you intend to send payment

He was "rushing" me to send him the money. Also he kept emailing me back to back
about the yorkie puppy.
Then he calls me and says he sent the confirmation code and to check my email.
I checked my email and read that:
My travel agent contacted me to say Jessica have been shipped out to
United Kingdom a couple of hours ago cos there is no direct flight
from Nigeria to United State, she would be shipped from United Kingdom
to Your location in United State, Ga.
I would let you know as soon as they arrive United Kingdom also send
you her arriival and pickup time from United Kingdom to your location.

My travel agent contacted me to say the puppy escort called him to say
they just arrived United Kingdom to United Kingdom and he was about
final shipping arrangement to have Jessica shipped from United Kingdom
to United State by but the authorities in United Kingdom ask for the
puppy paperwork and other relevant documentation that was included
along with shipping and after a couple of minutes the authorities in
United Kingdom after going through Jessica Paperwork the authoriries
claim that your puppy would not be allowed to be shipped to United
State, the authorities claim that Jessica CUSTOMS CLEARANCE PAPERS was
not included along with shipping also with the puppy HEALTH
CERTIFICATE has not being renewed before Jessica was shipped out, the
authories in united kingdom would not allow your puppy to be shipped
to you unless the puppies CUSTOMS CLEARANCE PAPERWORK is taken care of
also with their HEALTH CERTIFICATE RENEWAL, my travel agent is asking
for an additional $300.00 to have your puppy's customs clearance
paperwork taken care of also with with $230.00 for your puppy health
certificate renewal before Jessica can be finally shipped to you or
else Jessica would be quarantined for 60days, pls i need you to take
care of the $530.00 asap so you can finally have Jessica, then i would
reinburse you the $530.00 as soon as i get paid by July 5th.

So i asked for my money back and he tells me he doesn't get paid until June 5th, which June 5th had already passed. #2 SCAM! I asked him how can they go a whole month without paying somebody?
Then he told me I was in good hands. #3 SCAM! Do not send this man any money. It is a scam!!
