We had the worse experience ever with those people, we were provided with 3 lazy people to move us to our new home. It was horrible, they asked us for tape and they did not even have a proper tool box, they unscrewed many things by hand, one guy was talking in the phone most of the time, many times we had to tell him to come and help us move something, the 2 others had no experience what so ever, it took them for ever to assemble a crib. We asked them to put a couch a certain way they refused saying that they know what they were doing. They left it until the end and they had to take out so many things to make it fit in the truck. They lost almost an hour to do that. After 4 hours of a very bad and slow work, we called their boss "Ken", his real name is Hector Martinez and we complained about them, he said that he will give us one hour credit.
When we arrived to the new house, again, they were so slow and incompetent, we were really tired of them, so we asked them to just mount the crib and the mattress and leave the rest, it was a desperate situation, in final they spend 7 hours " moving" things, then we wanted to pay them for 6 hours which was agreed with their boss, they said no, then they called him, and for some reason he denied that he gave us the 1 hour credit. We talked to him in the phone and he even denied talking to us earlier. He also said he was at 5 min from our new house so he came and started shouting at us. We told him that the guys he sent us didn't seem like they have done any moving before in their lives, and we finally told him just take the money and leave, he refused to leave he said he wanted 50 dollars extra for the gas because he had to come. We had to call the police because the situation was not manageable, the guy has anger issues and is very greedy. The police officers asked him to leave and if he wanted something else from us he has to go to civil court. You can't imagine how frustrating the situation was, we still have so many furniture to assemble, knowing that we paid these guys for a 7 hours moving. We have a small house and not that many furniture, with professional it would have taken 6 hours at most and things would be at their place and assembeled. Please be careful, this is a real scam, we were ripped off by kens movers, stay away from them.
