After being put into poverty with TransAm Trucking, they have started their lawsuit against me. I worked hard and long with them to try making a living. As a contractor, TransAm should have been willing to give me the miles to make a living as a truck driver.instead they gave me the shaft by not givig me the miles, holding my truck for repairs, dispatching me on loads that do not make me money. Examples: they would dispatch me to run 500 miles on a load that deliver 3 days later by appointment date and time only. Another problem I had, they would pull me off the road due to them not being able to call me on the cell phone after loosing my phone service because I was not able to keep up my bills and expenses due to no pay. It should be a law against companies like TransAm for this. They basicaly left me broke, homeless and depending on others to help me get back on my feet. Now they are sueing me, which they should be sued. I left because of very little profits were made. According to my records, for the year to date less than $1000 was profit for the year and thats not including my living and home expenses. They left me high, dry and struggling to regain my life. Yes, they will sometime give you the miles but they take it all back within that month. I will never recommend this company to anyone, not even my enemies. At TransAm, you are not a contractor, you're a company driver working for them. The Feds should place this company under investagation and slam them on their fake lease program. I would have been better off begging for money on the interstate ramps.
