Here is the short story as I am pressed with time. I recently opened a restaurant 3 months ago and long behold came a "customer" that got an order to go. Not too long later I receive a call about a customer that was so pleased with his to go order and he could not wait to come back. The conversation drifted from the food to something he was offering which was for my restaurant to be advertised on the back of tshirts for the local high school and elementary schools. So I thought "great! This is going to help out the school and get our name out there".
The guy was slick on the phone ill give him that. Very well spoken man. I paid him over the phone right there and then the amount of $287... Bad move on my part, with his promise to drop off a receipt the next couple of days along with some sample tshirts. All of this never happened and I came to find out that supposedly a family member of his got sick and he had to leave town.
