I purchased an extended warranty policy with Signet Financial Group when I purchased my new RV on 09/09. The contract states that there was to be a full refund if it was not used in the 60 month period.
I didn't use the warranty, so I contacted Signet in 09. They sent a " Refund Program Document Checklist" which I complied to completely and mailed back to them by certified mail.
I did a follow up phone call to them; they said they received my documents and it would come up for review in 60 days.
At the end of that time, I called several times to check the status of my claim. Most of the time I couldn't talk to anyone, so I left messages, usually to no avail. Eventually Vickie in the refund dept. Called back & said I was approved and the check should be mailed by the end of February.
That did not happen, so I called them again. This time (approx eary March) the recorded message said the office was closed until further notice.
Now when I call (4/25) there is no answer and no answering service.
I now suspect that this company is a total dishonest scam or even a Ponzi scheme.
The state of California or all parties concerned should sue this ripoff company, it's shareholders or it's officers. If anyone is planning a class-action lawsuit against these crooks, please let me know.
