This "breeder" is not licensed by the USDA. Alicia Luts is breaking the law! She also sells sick puppies to people. We bought our puppy from Gold Standard Kennel on November 13th. We found her through the internet. After having our puppy for 2 months, it was easy to see his difficulty walking and lameness. The X-ray confirmed that our puppy has hip dysplasia.
We contacted Alicia and the only option she offered us was to replace the puppy. We told her that there was absolutely no way we could do this, as Max (our puppy) had already become part of our family. We love him and wanted to help him.
We did the first surgery on his right hip on February 28th. Later, we have to do another surgery for his left side. For now, Max is going through a really painful recovery. It's a hard and upsetting time for our family right now.
We payed a lot of money for this surgery and its only the beginning of our expenses for Max.
