PCS Deceived by Sprint regarding porting phone number from one company to theirs BOLINGBROOK ILLINOIS

I am writing in regards to a porting of a phone number from US Cellular to Sprint. I went to the Sprint store on November 26 to ask questions regarding porting a phone number from US Cellular to Sprint. I was told by the store manager that this could take a couple of hours up to a couple of days and there would be at no time an interruption in phone service.

This was a very important piece of information as the phone number being ported is a business phone line. After the second day and the phone that I purchased for just under two hundred dollars, still not working, I contacted Sprint customer care as well as the store to see what was the hold up. I was told to be patient and it would happen within twenty four hours. Today is January 23 and I still do not have a phone number ported over with service on that phone I purchased in November working.

This is the second time the phone number is "dead", no service, an absolute interruption in service and I am told they don't know when it will be working. During this period of time, besides being absolutely given the run around by customer care, tier one, tier two technical support, etc... I have been repeatedly told this is not the "normal" process of a port and they're working on it. I have been told repeatedly after sitting on hold for over 1 1/2 hours that a supervisor will call me back many times and no one ever calls me back.

I have called first thing in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening just to exaust every possibility to get to the bottom of this ridiculous situation. Yesterday, I contacted the store and told them that this is not acceptable (mind you, I have said this repeatedly, this is poor customer service to say you will have something working, call back, fix the problem, etc... And in the end you have a non working telephone number, a dead phone and no one taking responsibility for this mess) I also told the store manager I would like a loaner phone with a phone number so I have a phone to use, this is a business line for a real estate agent and now it's dead, I was told he couldn't authorize that, to call customer care.

I did, spent over an hour being tossed around the company to be told finally, they would put it in the notes this is a huge on going inconvenience for me and the store could pull up the notes and then give me a loaner phone to use in the interim - the phone call got disconnected. Of course when you call Sprint, they give you first name only, not last name and one point someone gave me a employee number and when I called back to get to that person, no one knew what I was talking about.

I called back to verify even though the phone call got disconnected, the notes were there and I could get a loaner phone-I was told by another customer care representative that Sprint would never give me a loaner phone or authorize such a thing and she'll look through the notes and that employee that told me would be reported to her manager and then she very rudely spoke to me, called me "hon" and said there's nothing she can do and said she could transfer me to someone else, not a supervisor though, because they won't be available.

Did you know you can never get a supervisor on the line, I have tried over and over again and every time, no matter what time of day it is, they're not available. So here we are almost two whole months into a simple "porting of a phone number" and I have wasted numerous hours of my time, my gas, going to the store to try and resolve this, talking on the phone to be told more lies and I have a business phone number temporarily out of service for customers to reach (three days now it's had that message) as well as a dead phone I had to purchase in order for the port to work, back in November.

I asked Sprint for the corporate office or the name of the president and they told me there isn't a corporate office and I could get on line and email through the site or write a letter to the address listed on the site. I have repeatedly emailed and of course you can see where that's gotten me, no where at all.

Any tips for resolving this would be well appreciated because this is the worst experience I have ever had with any company and all levels that I have had contact with at a company.
