These people are scum. They call me at work, claim to be "agents" Investigating a claim of check fraud. When i say, no, you're debt collectors. So who is the company you're working for. Is it a pay day loan company, or check company. What is it. And they put me on hold. Then a woman comes on claiming to be "investigator Yeager" and tries to intimidate you into paying. The last time I checked a police officer or investigator is trying to prove a crime and has no interest in you paying it to them to "settle the debt" once it would be investigated that ship has sailed. They won't give any information. All they say is they want your bank information and they want you to "give a statement".. It's BS. Don't give these people any information. What they are doing is ILLEGAL... They are debt collectors and are using means of intimidation to get you to pay a debt that is older than the statute of limitations. (in my case they wouldn't even tell me the company they're collecting for")
