I was contacted after seeking intrest in a cat, the "owner" offered to ship this pet stating he merely wanted a good home for the animal. Shortly after I was emailed by Delta Pet Travel, stating the owner had paid the initial $50 set up fee and I would pay a standard $250 shipping fee. After foolishly paying this via money gram, I was given delay after delay, promised a morning after arrival. Only to receive a phone call about a bogus claim of $450 needed to Insure the pet, per airline regulations. At this point I contacted the airlines themselves to find out that there was no such regulation. These people have no remorse, and seek only money. Even after telling them I knew this was a scam, they continued to email me stating that they merely wanted a good home for the kitten. Still trying to see if I would send money. I can only be thankful that I realized the scam, and did not fall victim further. These type of people ask for wire money directly to Camaroon. Claiming to be established since 1992... However have a website "under construction" and a landline established by the new "magic jack" services. Be weary, and be cautious. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it!
