Direct TV took $124.91 directly out of my grandfather's checking account. He does not have a satellite and never has. When confronted, Direct TV refused to tell him where the service account was located that the money was used for. When I filed the police report and the police contacted Direct TV they wrote a letter back to the officer saying they have no record of my grandfather's checking account information being used. Direct TV are requesting that we provide a service location or telephone number. Money was stolen from him by Direct TV - how is he supposed to know what the money was used for or where? Direct TV seems to be making it very easy for thieves to steal checking information to set up accounts. There is obviously no identity verification process. Something rotten is going on with this shameless company.
