Terrible Purchase Experience—Lost Money

To get a Holiday 2010 give myself, I requested a Technivorm Moccamaster coffee machine along with a Baratza Virtuoso coffee mill. Dallas Coffee Equipment (SCG) charged my charge card $179 for that Baratza but didnt deliver it even tho the packaging slip stated it had been incorporated. SCG also delivered mean object in mistake I didnt even purchase. SCG delivered the Baratza out in another cargo after I informed them-it was absent. Although awaiting it, I popped the Technivorm and discovered it to become an evidently utilized/restocked device, with scores, spots, and lacking the warranty page. I requested the dog owner (Gail WATTS) in emails if my device was utilized or restocked and my issue was overlooked and went unanswered. I inquired if your complete reimbursement was feasible, was informed no since I'd waited longer than 5 times to report problems. Was handed two choices, exchange the Technivorm or spend to deliver anything back abandoned & obtain "complete refund minus $21.50 for unique S & H."

On 1/4, surprised from the numerous mistakes & evidently being offered a restocked device as new, I named and talked with Jessica M. And informed her I had been upset at-all the issues and may stop supply of the Baratza & may return anything. Stated I Would call her in half an hour & let her understand. I chose to have a possibility, named Jessica M. Back when I stated and directed her to truly have the Baratza sent. Well, it never came. I examined FedEx on 1/5 & was surprised to determine my bundle was coming back again to Seattle. I sent SCG to ask why & the dog owner (Gail W.) attributed SCGis unsuccessful shipping on me, declaring wrongly that I Would declined the purchase. I called FedEx as well as their representative explained that Mitch H. Of the shipper (SCG) had remembered the purchase. FedEx sent me-me a pdf page apologizing for almost any trouble and mentioned that "the shipper" remembered the purchase. I supplied FedEx's notice to operator (Gail W.) and he or she never actually recognized it. I had been later billed for that minute Baratza cargo that never appeared due to SCGis mistake (see below).

Experiencing more 7-time delivery rounds to swap-out the Technivorm along with a 3rd Baratza cargo, I reduce my deficits since the January 15 results contract was near. I again asked to get a return. Was advised no, that SCG is certainly going above & beyond their plan to permit me to come back anything & only cost me S & H. Therefore, I delivered anything abandoned, freebies unmarked, & was surprised to obtain emails from SCG saying I'd even be billed for that 2nd Baratza cargo remembered in problem by SCG, and, that I'd be billed for 1lb of free caffeine that I'd delivered unopened (returned since I'd been guaranteed by Gail WATTS. When I delivered anything abandoned I Would get a complete refund minus $21.50 S&H). I'm out $64.69 and submitted a challenge with my charge card company.

Seattle Coffee Equipment (SCG) seemingly have an unpublished plan to not shell out just one cent, regardless of how poorly they mangle a personis purchase, with no matter how terrible their customer support. Due to the several issues with my purchase, I did so a post-order web-search and discovered SCG includes a ~ 20% unfavorable assessment price. I looked additional online coffee equipment shops (Boyd Coffee Company, Roastmasters, Clive Caffeine, Special Marias, etc.) and didn’t look for a simple unfavorable evaluation about some of them. You are able to choose for oneself where you can risk your cash.
