After discovering that I was being overchared, United Propane agreed to credit me and to begin charging me a more realistic price. That lasted for about two deliveries.
Again they began to charge me approximately $1.00 a gallon more than the going rate for a 1,000 gallon tank, (that I own). You can't communicate with the office personel. They either don't listen or simply ignore what you're saying. I corrected the two bills I received at the higher price and mailed checks which reflected the price adjustment. Obvioslly I went with another supplier.
I have been getting regular phone calls from an obnoxious man named Gene Edwards who has been telling me that as he speaks, they are removing the propane from my tank... Processing a work order to plug my tank... Filing a lawsuit against me, etc, etc. I gave this to my lawyer who contacted him and instructed him not to call me again and explained that he harrassing me. This guy simply ignores my lawyer and continues to call my home, my cell phone and my employer.
Folks, this company is rotten! They will charge you what ever thay can get away with. If you happened to have one of their tanks, get rid of it. Buy your own. You will be much better off in the long run.
If you google "United Propane" you'll stumble upon lots of websites like this that allow you to write reviews. I have yet to read a positive review for United Propane. Can we all be wrong?
