Over the past 2 years I was using Difeo oil & propane for my propane deliveries at my home. Over the 2 years they have delivered an average of 450 gallons per year or so they say. They recently where price gouging at $5.20 a gallon. This price was at the time approximately $2.00 more than other companies I contacted. I can only be a fool for letting them deliver at that cost but didn't look at my bill every time they delivered so I was caught off guard.
This caused me to purchase my own 100 LB tanks. These tanks hold 22 gallons of LPG. I have been consistently been using 20 gallons every 4 weeks or 240 gallons per year. Since I started using my own tanks I have another adult living at my home which means more hot water, cloths drying etc, more propane is used. So I probably only used 16 gallons a month, just under 200 gallons a year during the 2 year period Difeo was delivering.
How do they pull this off??? I never checked my tank after deliveries to see if it was in fact full. Could there have been a leak in there regulator? Nothing has changed other than I switched their regulator for mine. They have also falsely charged me to pick up a tank after telling me I already paid the fee when they set my tank up. It is clear they are nothing but lying thief's.
