I changed my house rug after 15 years just since it was outdated. I had been suckered into Mohawkis smartstrand 24 months previously centered on their advertisements. Rug is in high-traffic places, LR, BR, steps, corridor. We've no kids, no-pets, remove our sneakers and machine frequently. Within 9 weeks, smartstrand was searching dirty. Salesman provided washing following a year. Mohawk's brochure claims steam-cleaning may return it to like-new look. They went machine over places many times and attributed it on the darkness. Created state with Mohawk, they created me spend to possess it washed again and also have today attempted three times WITHOUT ANY outcomes. Rug appears dirty, nearly dark and terrible. Mohawk sent an inspector who lost my period. He got a bright cloth and repeatedly applied places before cloth appeared filthy, even though rug look never altered. He charged me and anything underneath the sunlight, except the rug. Mohawk refused my state since dust was used in the cloth, it mustn't function as the rug. Exactly what a laugh and insult. Smartstrand carpet is crap. Mohawk DOESN'T recognize their phony guarantee. I'm caution anybody I will, to not spend your cash like I did so.
