I contacted Ms. Ayres about a pup listed in a Nickel add paper. I was told that she was available and we got talking. I explained that I was looking for a younger pup, a red female Doberman Pinscher. She said she had one but could not sell her because she had grown fond of her, Amber. I was told in minutes that she might sell her if her husband said it was alright to do so. She asked if $1200 was a price that I could pay. I said that I had looked at a $1500 pup and she told me she'd call me back and ask her husband in the mean time.
Within the hour she called saying her husband wanted her to sell Amber because they didn't need 3 Doberman's but the price had gone up to $1400. She also said that she had an all black that was Amber's littermate but she had lost an eye from an injury/infection and her selling cost was $900 if I was interested. I looked at her last add for these pups and they're price was only $600.
