I purchased a puppy from this company: Purebredbreeders in Florida which is a puppy web sale company. I saw this puppy’s pictures looked very pretty, after few conversations with Kristopher who introduce the condition and information of the puppy and I purchased this puppy. The puppy was shipped to me 5 days after I paid the money. I was very surprised when I saw the puppy which is totally different looking than the pictures listed on line, I called customer service right after I picked the puppy up from the airport (Friday). They admitted the pictures listed online was 7 weeks old puppy, but the puppy they shipped to me was 12 weeks old. The puppy looked very sick and dirty. I also noticed that she excessive drinking and urinating all the times, so I took her to see my Vet on the next business day (Monday), and she was diagnosed Bacterial urinary tract infection and face skin infection. Doctor gave her antibiotics to treat these problems. I called customer service regarding this problem and they told me that the breeder will pay me back the medicine and treatment. The puppy’s condition did not get any better, after 5 days of the medication, and I took her to see the doctor, again. Doctor ordered more blood tests and urinate culture to find out the problem and he changed to a more stronger antibiotics. Another 5 days passed, the symptoms persist and I asked the doctor to write the condition report regarding this puppy, and she has been suspected to have a generic disease: Diabetes Insipidus which can not be cured. I sent the report to the customer service and they want me to confirm this condition with this puppy which means that I have to take the puppy to a internal medicine specialist, which I called the initial consultation will cost $135, CT scan will cost $900 and Ultrasound will cost $500-$600. I told customer service that I don’t want to spend more money to find out the problem, which the breeder should know her condition before shipped to me. After customer service spoke with the breeder and told me that the breeder is going to take the puppy back. They only want to refund me the cost of the puppy, and I have to pay the air fright to flight her back. I subsequently called customer service many times, and they insisted the only refund will be the puppy’s purchase price. I feel been treated unfairly, because the breeder and the Purebredbreeds did not provide the most current and accurate information of the puppy which I rely upon to make the purchase decision. They breached the sales agreement which stated very clearly: “The Seller makes every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information on the website regarding the puppies they sell.”
