I recently purchased an email list from IScope Digital Media. I dealt with Jonathan R, he was very nice (before the sale) and convinced me that the 5,000 Attorneys for $500 was the best value out there. Unfortunately I then got the file. The email list must of had the first 2 people ever to sign up for AOL. 2 of the names were [email protected] and [email protected]. When I saw that I knew something was up.
I emailed the list and 3,032, 60.64% of the email addresses bounced. Jonathan suggested that it was a problem with my Email System not the list. I redelivered the bounces 250 at a time from my personal email account to confirm that there wasn't an issue with my email server. There wasn't, this list was just garbage.
I then looked at the remaining non bounces and 576 were business domains. Meaning 1,392 were aol, yahoo, gmail email addresses. From what I can tell none of them seemed to be actual attorneys.
I should have known something was wrong when I had to pay by check. I've asked for a refund several times and have gotten no where.
Do not fall for their scam, before buying they showed me a perfect sample of Attorneys. The sample emails were probably the only good names in the actual file. Hopefully this email prevents someone else from wasting their money.
