BeenVerified.com advertises itself as a background check service and that you can cancel your subscription any time. What they don't tell you is that their data is VERY out of date and while you can cancel any time, you can forget about any kind of a refund.
As an example, we ran a check on myself and my husband; address information for both of us was 3 - 4 years out of date. We signed up for the free trial and missed cancelling during the trial period - our mistake. We were charged $96 for a 1yr subscription. When we called to cancel and get a refund, we were told to forget about it, that their policy was no refunds. Don't waste your time or money on this service; you can do just as good a job searching the internet yourself!
