Make sure you never need to dispute with Sears Mastercard
Everytime I have called in for a dispute with the credit card, they have not tried to help with charge reversals in any way. One time they realized that the merchant was a fraud and reversed in my favor and they changed the reversal in the merchant's favor. When I continued disputing the charge they did give me a credit of $100.00 because by the time they reversed the dispute the charge in the merchants favor, he was out of business.
Today when I called to dispute the charge they told me to report it to the Better Business Bureau. Huh?
They are definitely for the merchant and not the customer. After 21 years they will not be my credit card any longer.
