This company called me up to inform me that they could sell my time share and they had a potential buyer. The sales person was very pushy and said if I didn't act now, they would loose the potential buyer and I would see a check of sale of the time share within 20 business days. He informed me that he was raising a family of 5 kids and by selling this timeshare was his commission as well, so he didn't want him or I to loose this great opportunity. With this being said, I verbally agreed for them to take a one time charge of $689 on my capital one credit card. Within the next 10 business days I got something in the mail from them (I thought it was a check since they were getting it sold), instead it was a contract that I was suppose to sign for a listing of the time share. I called them and they told me I had to sign the contract before the buyer can purchase the timeshare. This made sense to me at the time. Little did they tell me that after 7 days you are outside of the grace period, if you change your mind. I signed the contract and sent it back. Within a month later, I heard nothing so I continuously called to find out what was going on. They told me that there were about 3 potentials buyers and I just needed to be patient. A few months went by as I heard nothing from the company. I called and they told me that if I lowered the price of what I was selling it for and renting for, the buyers would be more agressive and would be more potentials for me. I did this in agreeance with what they told me. A few months went by and heard nothing again. At this point, it had been at least 8 months and nothing was sold, heard nothing, and nothing in the mail and no ad on the website. I called and asked for management. They put a manager on the phone whom informed me that there has never been a potential buyer and there was no inquiries on the property. I was ANGRY and requested a refund at this point. They told me I was past my 7 day grace period. I informed them that no one was calling me back and heard nothing from the company. The manager told me he would call me at least once every two weeks to let me know what was going on with the time share. I was generous and waited at least a few months, heard nothing. I have sent them numerous faxes and written letters. No one responds back to me, no one calls me back and they all give me the run around. It has now been since 5-28 and still no timeshare sold, heard nothing from the company, no phone calls back to me at all and no communication. WOW, did I ever get SCAMMED! To top it off, I have had about 5 other companies call me and try to do the same thing. I was promised this was a sold time share and they don't advertise with other companies. I can't believe a word of what was ever spoken to me about this company. THEY HAVE SCAMMED me and lied to me about everything! NOW, I just want out of it and get a full refund!
