They pose as a talent/modeling agency promising to a catalog shoot in two weeks. They book you for an in person interview & promptly schedule you for a portfolio photoshoot. They made me pay $350 and after I paid they gave no receipt, just a piece of paper saying the payment was not refundable. After the shoot was done they called the next day saying that the people in charge loved my images & wanted me to make a deposit for my comp cards for another $250. When questioned them about the cards they changed the subject. Again there were no papers to sign, contracts, just a piece of paper with a dollar amount. A few days later after I asked about the and tried to email them they called me back saying the people in charge now wanted me on their website for another $250. When i questioned them that I know that is illegal they said i wasnt serious about my future as a model and would find someone else to fill the position if i dont call them back for time to give them the money. I am afraid that if i back out now they will disappear with the money I already gave them.
