Ben Halifi and wife Fay talk a good talk when they want something from you. Money a contract to do work, anything. The will promise you anything you want to get what they want. I met them and wanted to trust them. They seemed like nice people who needed my help. My wife thought differently but I did not listen to her. We formed a partnership and I was told by Ben many times "Don't worry" Your like my family I won't do anything to harm you or your family. LIE LIE LIE.
Ben and his so called construction company did work for a customer he found. The work was not up to par and the owner called him on it. Since he does none of the work him self and hires unqualified people to do the work this was bound to happen eventually. One it was brought to his attention he denied any problems. I saw the work and it was terrible. I tried to get him to make it right but if you know Ben he will NEVER admit to doing anything wrong.
Long story short the client took him to arbitration to settle the matter with a neutral 3rd party qualified in these issues and awarded the client everything she proved his company did wrong. He did not even bother to show to the hearing knowing that how could he defend crappy workmanship. He will not pay his debt to the bond company, the client and the $ owed to me. I would not take a cent from him and call us even if he would just pay his debt to the people he screwed.
He now says he is leaving the country. Running like a coward letting everyone else holding the bag with no remorse or even 1 ounce of humility saying I messed up. I'm sorry. I will try and make good on the promises I made.
If you know whats good for you you will not do any business with this man. No matter how hard he will try and convince you to work with him and everyone who says things about him are liars or jealous or what ever lie he thinks will work on you.
You have been warned... Ben Halifi is not a man he is a liar and a cheat and is looking for his next victim. Thank God it won't be me.
