They contact you by phone and say that if you pay the $198 it will be credited to your account so when you order something with your card from their catalog or website, you already have that credit.
It took two months before I received the card. When I did, the stuff in the catalog was about 20 years old, outdated, and over priced. I attempted to buy something on the internet, and was asked to put down a huge down payment, I attempted to call customer service to ask about my credit, I was on hold for more than 30 minutes, they were rude, told me regardless of my credit, I still had to pay the down payment.
I told her I wanted to cancel my card and she said I had to do so via email. I sent the email asking for my money back, I haven't heard anything since.
