Saddlerock will seem nice at first as they are eager to have your wedding at their property, but the extraneous charges you will incur with respect to valet parking, security, and clean-up will completely ruin your wedding day. These charges will only be made known to you at the last minute and there is nothing you can do at that point but pay. You have to use their security and valet parking vendors and there is no negotiating (wouldn't doubt it if they got a kick-back of some sort... Super shady).
They required multiple security guards at our small wedding in July at a cost of close to $2000! Imagine that getting sprung on us at the last second. And sure enough, most of the guards grouped together and chatted the whole night away, not paying attention to anything going on. One of our guests actually suffered an injury because the guards were not paying attention.
As for your security deposit, consider most of it gone. They will charge you for the smallest things. What, the $10k we paid you didn't cover the small piece of trash you some how found in the bushes? Really? It's a beautiful venue but honestly their business practices are horrible and I would definitely look elsewhere.
