We upgraded our service with a third reciever, which we thought would be a 305 instead they installed a 510. When I called to get what I really wanted, I was given the run-around. Finally I thought we got the problem resolved, she told me I was eligable to get the reciever I wanted for $69.00 instead of $99.00, I was thrilled and excepted.
They took a second payment from me with my Visa Bank card., When I found out I wasn't going to get a brand new reciever, [it would be a refurbished one], I called and recieved another run around. Finally after persistance, they told me they could give me what I wanted for another $99.00. I said look you already have $99.00 of mine from the 510[which I won't get back till they recieve the reciever back and then another4-6 weeks till they issue the refund.] You also have another $69.00 of mine from the refurbished one you were going to put in, so finally I got them to agree to take out another $30.00 to make the difference from the $69.00. That was installed.
After 6-weeks I didn't hear anything from them, so I called. That was on Nov. 12th 2004. They told me then I could expect that $99.00 to be back in my Visa bank account, within 3-5 business days. When I called Tuesday to make sure they had taken care of this, [wouldn't you know another run-around.] Finally after I made such a big fuss, she stated that the money would be in my bank account by Tuesday Nov. 19th 2004. Well guess what it wasn't.
So my husband called the same evening and got a bigger run around then I did. They even went as far as saying they didn't owe us the money. Then they tried to make us take it towards our Dish bill, and I said absolutely not! My husband then asked to speak to the corporate office. He then stayed on the line for 20 minutes, which then he was hung up on, so he called right back. Was given another run around, when finally an unprofessional jack ass got on and said he was from the corporate office.
He tried then to tell me again they did not owe me this money. I then called him on it, finally he said well it takes 3-5 business days and tomorrow which is Nov. 19th is the 5th business day. I then said then tomorrow my money should be in my account. He then said well, technically speaking yes. I asked well that means it should be there, Right? And he could not say that for sure. My husband and I are fed up. We are going to wait till next Wednesday, and if this has not been resolved, then we are just switching to Direct Tv.
These people are a bunch of mourons and don't know what the hell they are doing. I have never dealt with such unprofessionals in my life. I will make sure other people are aware of this, you can count on it! Please make sure someone hears us! Darla and William Long.
