I found a contractor, Joe Mccauley, through CraigsList. He seemed legit.

His phone number: 704-576-3333. Anyway, we drew up a plan of doing some work in my basement, and commenced work in Feb. He worked well, so I decided to give him additional work. Well, long story short, he took the additional money, over $2500, and never showed up again. Doesn't answer any calls or respond to email. It's been almost 2 weeks now.
I want to prevent this guy, Joe McCauley from doing this to anybody ever again.
Just as an FYI, he does come across as a good family man. Has 4 daughters and is a Softball Commissioner for some sports league in Union County. He is a smooth liar and very deceptive. I just want everybody to be very careful in dealing with him.
