I bought a Verizon International calling card to use in Jamaica. When I arrived in Jamaica, I was unable to use the card. When I tried to use the card I was told that it could not be used due to the fact that it was a prepaid card.
When I returned home, I called Verizon and explained the situation to them. I was told that I was supposed to call the number on the back of the card to see what countries it could be used in.
I tried to explain to the representative that I had to buy the card in order to call the number on the back, due to the fact that the card was behind the counter at the store. The representative was no help so I asked for a manager.
Basically, the manager told me I was out of my money. My concern is customers should be aware that the card has to be bought before you're able to find out which countries can be called.
