To whomever likes bargains & Jewelry:
Having spent 2 yrs in Madagascar, I was atracted to a orange saphhire (Malagasy) silver pendant on GemsTV; it was said it was an inch high (?). W / the shipping it cost just over $56. Rec'd it & was surprised how teensy tiny it wass (but well made and colorful); it measures no more than l/2 an inch, either direction. Thot to give it a 'go' and found an old chain w / which to match it; wore it one day and it just wasn't visible nor prominent. Suitable, perhaps for a 10 yr old; my mistake was NOT viewing it vs. The neck of a real human, on screen. Found the original label, ret'd the item via USPS, insured for $50; no tracking. When I called Gems' 800 # to see if it had been rec'd in Reno, held for a long time, and after connecting w / Danny, was soon thereafter disconnected. (Didn't want to claim the ins if Gems had gotten the pendant back). Today (almost a mo after the return) the darn thing came back to me (my credit acct was held up a month and then the amt was re-instated), w / a checkmark by the "original tag was removed" indicating that, per their rules, I was stuck w / the little thing. Checkmate. The tag was next to the pendant, but not connected. How weird. They certainly have their own kingdom, and I, for one, don't want to be a part of it going into the future. It's NOT bait "and switch" but "you bought it, it's paid for, "you've got it and no comeback or further talk nor listening to the customer's side/viewpoint." Rather amazing, in retrospect.
