Karie Fairchild doing business as The Paw Palace in Tucson Arizona is a complete ripoff. We paid her $750 for a purebred Yorkshire Terrier which we were promised at 9 weeks old. Karie delayed in giving us our dog claiming that the dog had a virus and it needed some time to recuperate. We got the dog a week later and he died 24 hours after we took him home. We brought him to the vet and the vet said there was nothing we could have done. Karie refused to give us a replacement dog as she said we broke the agreement by taking it to a a vet. She also refuses to refund our money saying it is our problem not hers. Karie Fairchild is totally unethical, she lied to us and took our money and could care less about it. If you see her ad in the paper advertising for Yorkshire Terrier Teacup puppies, do not do business with her as her home is full of problem dogs with all kinds of diseases and she will take your money and give you a dog with problems. There are plenty of reputable dog brokers in the Tucson market. Karie is as unethical as it gets, do not buy a dog from her, you are very likely to get ripped off.
