I had a problem with a electrical inspection that was done in my home. I had Todd home inspect my home only because they were referred to me by my real estate agent, bad mistake. When they inspected a kitchen light switch the light did not come on. The inspector Harry Todd said that it was PROBALLY THE LIGHT BULB. He did not get a new bulb to make sure it was the bulb which he should have done as a good inspector. We all know that when buying a home we can't go on PROBABBLIES. That can cost alot of money down the road and possible court litigation. It turned out to be a problem in the wiring from the switch to the light, its bad wires. If I would have known this I would have asked to seller to fix it before closing. I was not aware that it was a wiring issue due to bad info given to me. Today I called the office after a month of waiting for a return call from Harry Todd. I was told buy Im guessing the office manager that Harry was not going to pay for the repair. He was very militant when talking with me, bad customer service skills. I asked him to have Harry call me since I did not know his position in the company. He said Harry lost more money on another repair that he overlooked and was not paying for this one because it costed him more that what I paid for the inspection. Well that the cost of having a business, sometimes you gain sometimes you lose. I'm sure he's gained monetarily more then he has lost. I am escalating this to the State Attorneys Office.
