Stay In Touch Long Distance contacted me along with another company, not sure of their name, but it had something to do with airline miles, to test out their programs. I agreed, since I figured I could always cancel if I did not like the service.
It took about two weeks for the Stay In Touch letter to arrive, and it notified me that I have until Nov. 12 to cancel or I will be billed $50.00 a month, every month. At the time of this writing, (Nov. 1) I have not yet been billed, and, as I am in the US Army, I am contacting JAG (Judge Advocate General) on Monday, Nov. 03.
I will update this post if JAG gives me any useful information, and always remember that you have to be very careful with your personal information. I am still not sure how these people got my number, since it is a cellphone, but they did, so watch out!
