This photographer took 3k from my son one year ago. My son was given a contract for the wedding set for June 19. My son has been trying to contact this photographer for a couple weeks. There has been no response.
This week my son went to the office where the photographer had his business. They had moved several months ago. They have also changed their business name multiple times.
The tenant next to the old office said there are many many young couples coming to see why they have not been contacted by this photographer.
I've found different locations and now with different names for this same person. My dtr in law to be called them and talked to them for half an hour, as a possible new customer. When they finally realized who my dtr inlaw was they told her they would call her back but never did.
I know we may not get our money back. The real issue is stopping this fraud. They even posted on their old site that they were Detroit's photographer of the year in 05. I hardly doubt it. Please, so many kids are being taken advantage of. No memories on what should be their special day.
We are now looking for someone else. Not sure where the money will come from. I will be late on my mortgage no doubt.
