Horrible service. We started our Ch 7 Bankruptcy in late October. Our account was paid in full in December 09. Despite sending in all paperwork in a timely manner, I never heard from the attorney. I called to ask the status, and was told they hadn't received all the paperwork. I informed them that I had, in fact, sent it all. But, because, I was at their mercy, resent it again. As time went by, I heard nothing. I called again. I was told they were waiting on paperwork. I hung up frustrated, but called them again. I spoke with someone different this time. I was told my petition was in "typing", and it would take about 3 weeks. After a month, I still hadn't received anything, I called back. I was told my petition was in "typing", and would take 3 weeks. I waited another month. Called back, and got the same story AGAIN. At this point, I threatened to contact the BBB, and the Bar Association. Amazingly, I received a call from the local office within 30 minutes. She assured me, the petition would be here by the end of the week. When I received the petition, only a fraction of the creditors were listed, despite me giving all of that information months before. The night before our 341 hearing, we received a reminder call, and instructions to arrive 15 minutes before our 230 meeting. At 215, our attorney still wasn't there. Several other clients of theirs were waiting as well. We contacted the main office, and were told that our attorney was running late. They gave us his cell phone number. We called, and had to leave a message. When he still hadn't arrived at around 250, we called back. The call went straight to voicemail. We contacted the local office, who instructed us to ask that we be moved to the bottom of the docket until he arrived. At 300, we asked another attorney what we should do, since ours wasn't there. He offered to call ours, and was able to get him to answer immediately. Our attorney informed him, that he simply wasn't coming. He asked this man to stand in for him. This attorney knew nothing of our cases, and had none of our paperwork. Later that day, into the next week, we called the local office, and we were simply told, there was a scheduling mix up. Coincidentally, it was Friday, of the Memorial Day weekend. I would NEVER refer anyone to this group. They are awful, and now that I research them, I find more and more complaints very similar to mine. Obviously, not an isolated incident. They should not be in business.
