EHarmony offers "Free Communication Weekends" stating that for a period of time you can use their service for free to contact the potential matches that are sent to your account. However, the "matching" feature is always unable to find any suitable matches (in thier estimation) for you until the last possible minute of the free timeframe. So, if there are people you want to contact, by the time they could reply to your contact, the free communication period is over so you then have to buy a membership (for $60 a month) to reply.
